I am a Java developer with passion for data streaming. I have more than 10 years working experience with full stack Java development and over 4 years of experience with Kafka. I believe Kafka is a great solution for data streaming purposes and therefore I was one of the first engineers to implement Kafka within our bank in 2014 to improve the automatic fraud detection system. Since then the use of Kafka has grown rapidly within ING and I am currently the lead developer in the team that supports all Kafka related use cases in our organization.
