Eric Boyd

Corporate Vice President, Microsoft

Eric Boyd leads the Applications and Services Group Shared Data team. He is responsible for the systems and pipelines used to manage and process data for Bing, BingAds, Skype, OneNote, OCAS, and Exchange. He’s been at Microsoft since 2009 when he joined to create the Silicon Valley Search Ads team. Eric moved to Bellevue in 2011 to lead the Information Platform Group Ads Platform Development team prior to taking on his current role in 2015. Prior to Microsoft, Eric was the VP of Engineering at Mochi Media, an ads startup that was acquired by Shanda Games. Prior to Mochi, Eric was at Yahoo for 10 years; most recently serving as VP of Platform Engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from MIT. He is a Boston Red Sox fan and semi-retired professional blackjack player.
