Ben is a technologist in the Office of the CTO at Confluent Inc (a company that backs the popular Apache Kafka streaming platform). He has two decades of experience in the field and has focused on distributed data infrastructure for the majority of it. As a Kafka contributor he worked on a number of features including the latest incarnation of the replication protocol.
